Description
Americans for the Arts is pleased to present this Monograph as part of our continuing partnership with the American Association of School Administrators, the professional organization founded in 1865 that serves more than 13,000 educational leaders across the United States. Our collaboration includes the exchange of articles for publication and cooperative research, culminating most recently in The Conference Board’s 2008 report “Ready to Innovate: Are Educators and Executives Aligned on the Creative Readiness of the U.S. Workforce?” on the attitudes of business and school leaders toward building creativity and innovation skills in new employees. This Monograph is part of our ongoing commitment to sharing information that helps deepen the understanding between local school leaders and their community partners who care about arts education in their schools.
